ANOTHER VICTORY FOR MEADRAM
Meadram doubled his score for the season with a convincing success on his return to Wolverhampton on Saturday evening.
A ready winner at the track 24 days earlier he is quickly making up for lost time and started a warm favourite to add to his previous success at the track.
Nicely placed on the heels of the leader Aussie Rascal he eased to the front two furlongs from home, readily drew clear and came home unchallenged by two and three quarter lengths without his jockey Dougie Costello getting at all serious.
It is barely two months since Meadram made his racecourse debut. He is progressing well and given that he won a Class 6 handicap off a mark of 60 on Saturday he can surely continue to be competitive once the handicapper reacts to this latest victory.
