DECISIVE FOURTH WIN FOR WISPER
Wisper gained her fourth success of the year with a decisive victory in a Class 5 handicap over ten furlongs at Windsor on Monday.
She was given a fine, patient ride by 5lbs claiming apprentice Aidan Keeley who is still on a high after his winning ride in the Cambridgeshire last month.
Wisper was towards the rear early on before moving stealthily into contention three furlongs out, soon led, readily drew clear and was three and a half lengths ahead of the runner up Bay Dream Believer at the line.
A jaunty chestnut with the most willing attitude she has given her band of owners who race under the banner of the Reigning Partnership no end of fun.
They include her former trainer Michael Blanshard who remains her biggest supporter.
Wisper has been a model of consistency in 2022 and has been in the money on all eight of her starts this year.
She won off a handicap rating of 58 on her debut for the season at Brighton late in May, defied a mark of 74 with something to spare at Windsor and is bound to be raised again after her latest triumph.
