FIRST WIN FOR QUIETNESS AT WINDSOR
Quietness gained her first success at Windsor on Monday evening running off a mark of 68 in her first race since joining Marcus Tregoning’s team at Whitsbury.
Bred and still part owned by the nearby Alvediston Stud she had been placed in all four starts last year for George Baker.
Quietness has thrived in her new surroundings and justified steady market support through the day with a strong late run that took her to the front close home in a Class 5 handicap over just shy of a mile and a half.
She showed a willing attitude in beating Budding by a neck. There should be more to come from Quietness who can be expected to improve from her seasonal debut.
