Landue extended his impressive late season form with another decisive success in a mile and a half amateur riders handicap at Kempton on Tuesday evening.

He has now won five times since opening his account off a mark of 59 at Lingfield over ten furlongs in July.

His progress has been relentless with further victories at a Ffos Las, Chelmsford and Kempton before his latest triumph back at Kempton on Tuesday.

Landue was given a polished ride by Ross Birkett who waited in midfield on the inner before producing him with a strong run in the final straight which saw him stretch clear readily to beat Agent Gibbs by three and a quarter lengths.

Now up to a mark of 78 it is inevitable that he will be raised again after this latest romp under the floodlights.

But he may not be finished yet for the season as Marcus Tregoning has the chance of running him under a penalty at Chelmsford on Saturday.

Further ahead he has the scope to develop into a useful staying handicapper next year.
