SANDOWN WIN FOR SPANISH BLAZE
Another day. Another winner for Marcus Tregoning as Spanish Blaze gained his second course and distance success over seven furlongs at Sandown on Saturday in a Class 3 handicap for three year olds over seven furlongs.
He was the fifth winner from the last eleven runners sent out in the last nine days by his trainer from Whitsbury.
Always handy Spanish Blaze was sent into the lead over a furlong out by Kieren Shoemark and kept on to win with something to spare by a length from Quatre Bras.
He was racing off a mark of eighty and given that he has already won three times from eight starts he should hopefully be giving his band of owners in Whitsbury IV plenty more to cheer about over the summer.
