SUCCESS FOR QUIETNESS AT SALISBURY
Quietness doubled her score for the season on Tuesday with a narrow success in a competitive Class 4 Fillies Handicap over ten furlongs at Salisbury which is Marcus Tregoning’s local track.
She made a stylish debut for the yard at Windsor 29 days ago and racing off a 4lbs higher mark held the strong late challenge of Alhattan.
Quietness was given a positive ride by Oisin Murphy who dictated the pace from the front, stretched the field turning for home and had just enough in reserve to gain the verdict by a short head.
The winner is lightly raced for a four year old and her victory continued the good form of Tregoning’s team who enjoyed a double at a Goodwood on Friday.
