Landue was back in the winning groove under the floodlights at Kempton on Tuesday evening with the help of a confident ride by Hayley Turner.

A progressive type with a pleasing attitude, he has now been successful in three of his last four starts.

Turner waited patiently towards the rear on Landue until starting to make eye-catching progress on him on the rails once turning for home in the mile and a half Class 6 Handicap.

Landue then closed steadily on the leaders, edged ahead 150 yards out and kept on strongly to win cosily by three quarters of a length from Wallflower.

This is a nice, improving three year old on a roll and it will be disappointing if he cannot enhance his record further before the end of the year.
