SMOOTH WIN FOR TASFEEQ AT BATH

Tasfeeq opened our account for the new season with a fluent success in a Class 5 novice stakes over a mile at Bath on Friday evening.

An attractive colt by Oasis Dream he runs in the colours of Shadwell Estate Company following the death of Sheikh Hamdan last month.

We have always liked Tasfeeq who showed a fair bit of promise in two runs last August, most notably when finishing second at Newbury to a useful two year old Alenquer.

On Friday he  tracked the leader Mummy’s Boy from an early stage before easing to the front over a furlong out and stretching clear in pleasing style.

There is surely more to come from Tasfeeq who seemed to appreciate the step up to a mile and finished full of running.
